International PR Representative | Integrated Device Technology | San Jose, CA International PR Representative Responsibilities IDT is seeking a public relations (PR) professional who understands the Asian and European markets, will assist it in gaining recognition as an expert/leader in the international semiconductor markets, can help execute the appropriate positioning of its products in the international markets, and drive an aggressive media outreach and momentum program that will elevate the IDT 'voice' above the noise. As a member of the IDT Corporate Communications Group, this individual will help implement all PR efforts in the Asia Pacific, Japanese and European markets, and externally communicate the company's technology and products to these markets. This involves providing support in communicating the IDT value to the international markets through interfacing with IDT product lines, writing and editing press releases, white papers, awards, online communications and other related communications vehicles; assist with the development and execution of PR plans for the international markets; and help coordinate PR activities such as media or industry events for the Asia Pacific, Japan and European markets. The position requires a communications professional who enjoys technology public relations and is well versed in specifically the Asia Pacific and Japanese markets. This individual will interact closely with product marketing managers from within various IDT product business units, as well as with other related departments across the company. Requirements Minimum 4+ years of experience in Public Relations (can include a mix of corporate, agency, and journalism), with high-tech expertise Knowledge and experience in the Asia Pacific or Japanese semiconductor, manufacturing or other technology related marketplace; experience in semiconductor/hardware is preferred; European experience is a plus Experience implementing public relations plans that are both strategic and proactive, specifically within the Asia Pacific and/or Japanese markets Experience working closely with Asia Pacific and/or Japanese media or public relations agencies.
